Long-life bakery products have been produced in Schneverdingen for more than 80 years with great care and love for the art of baking. Over decades, our company has been developing into a specialist in the product segment pastries- and wafers in bags. Our focus has always been on an outstanding price-performance ratio for the consumer.

History

• 1933 Founding of the Northern German Food Company GmbH
• 1937 renaming into Maack and Horstmann
• 1948 change of name into Gottena (Gott Emil Food Company)
• 1995 sale of the company to Bahlsen GmbH & Co. Kg
• 1998 Gottena becomes an independent subsidiary within the Bahlsen group • 2010 Founding of Bisquiva GmbH & Co. Kg
• 2019 sale of the site to Heidekeks GmbH (Hans Freitag group)
